There are only 6 days left (including today) of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and I’m just now sharing what I purchased from the early access! Most of what I ordered already went out of stock, some of it before it even made it to my doorstep. However, this is the first year nearly everything that I bought ended up being a keeper! I also feel like this is the first year I mostly invested in things I’ll wear over and over again like jackets and shoes vs. tops. I only returned one pair of jeans I bought simply because they were too big.
What I Bought From The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
Caslon Camo Jacket
Starting with what I’m wearing in this post, I finally got myself a camo jacket and I can’t wait to wear it non-stop this fall. I’ll admit I’ve already been wearing it quite a bit since I tend to stay cold, especially in AC. The jacket runs large, I’m wearing a petite xxs and you can see it’s a little oversized, but the drawstring waist is perfect for pulling it in just a bit. It’s currently out of stock, but I’ve been seeing in come in and out of stock in the petite sizes so keep an eye out, you may get lucky!
Caslon Wedge Sneaker
When the catalog came out for the sale, these sneakers were something I circled. I’ve been wanting a pair of simple slip on sneakers and really liked that these were wedge. I also appreciate that they have a wedge without looking too tall in the back, know what I mean? The toe is almond which makes the shoe really sleek and flattering. I ended up loving these even more than I expected and have been wearing them with shorts and jeans already. I know come fall, they’ll be the pair I want to wear the most!
Madewell Remi Mule
The Remi Mule was another thing I had on my list from the very beginning. They’re a classic fall mule I know I’ll get a lot of wear out of. I initially ordered both the english saddle color and the calf hair mule, but the calf hair version went out of stock before it shipped. You’ll see these mules worn on the blog tomorrow. I purchased my usual size and they’re comfortable and fit well.
Wubby Fleece Pullover
I’ve been eyeing this pullover for over a year now. I didn’t buy it last year, but wish I had when I saw it on other bloggers. I did find cheaper versions, but while they looked the same on the outside, they were scratchy on the inside, so I never purchased one. After Lisa mentioned how much she wore hers last year I decided to go ahead and add it to my cart this year. I absolutely love it. It is soft inside and out, and is oversized and cozy. I’ve already been wearing it around the house.
Printed Sleeveless Top
I went into the store to shop the day early access started mostly to take Maddox to get some school clothes. (There were great deals on Nike and Adidas by the way!) This little tank top caught my attention when I was there. I don’t think I would have purchased this online, but seeing it in person and the pretty fall colors, I decided it was worth it. I love that I can wear it now and later with a cardigan.

Hiltin Knee High Boots
There was a pair of Sam Edelman boots that I think almost every blogger bought from the sale last year, and I regretting not getting myself a pair. So, when I saw this very similar pair part of the sale this year, I was sure to get one. I like the darker color and they’re a great height on my short legs. I can’t wait to wear them in the fall!
The Ones That Got Away
Along with the calf hair mules that I ordered and never received, I also missed out on all of the Madewell jeans I linked in my first Anniversary Sale Post, and a Madewell Sweater and a cute tank top. However, I’m happy with that I was able to snag and think they’ll be great for fall and winter. Some of them are still available, despite my tardiness in posting about the sale, but in limited sizes.
What did you get from the sale?
