One Week of Summer Outfits
My Sizing: I’m 4’10” and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″ and 36″. My typical inseam is 24-25″. The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online.
Monday
This activewear romper from Abercrombie has adjustable straps and an adjustable drawstring at the waist to make it petite-friendly. It’s great for staying cool on a hot summer day and comfortable to move in. Perfect for things like running errands, attending kids’ sporting events, and theme parks. I’m wearing it in Petite XS and it fits me well overall. To note I go with XS over XXS at Abercrombie, most of their items tend to run small in my opinion. I wear a sports bra with this romper most often.

Tuesday
I love this utility romper from Abercrombie. Sadly, I was not quick enough to share it before it mostly sold out, but I’m including it in a post in case it restocks. I’m wearing it in Petite XS and it fits me well overall. The top buttons are functional and there is a zipper from the waist down to make it easier to take off and on.

Wednesday
I sound like a broken record, but I love to wear a dress during the summer. So comfortable. This Boden dress has a cotton poplin skirt and a stretchy halter-style top (you need a strapless bra with this dress, love this one). It’s unlined (but not see-through) and has pockets. It is a vibrant red/orange in person. I thought it was red when I ordered it, but still love the color. I’m wearing it in Petite 2 and it fits me well overall.

Thursday
A skirt and a T-shirt is another summer outfit combination I love. This skirt from Boden is fully lined and has a soft and lightweight overlay (no pockets on this one). I’m wearing it in a size 2 and it fits me well (I’m a size 0/00 at other brands for reference). If the print isn’t your style, this skirt also comes in solid colors.

Denim Shorts
You can’t go wrong with a classic denim shorts outfit. I love the overall length of this pair from J.Crew. They’re true to size and have a comfortable high rise. I paired them with a sweater tank top from LOFT. The tank top is true to size (I’m wearing it in Petite XXS) and has functional buttons all the way down. The sandals are true to size and are my all-time favorite!

Saturday
If you’re looking for a pair of shorts that isn’t denim, I love this utility pair from Madewell. For the best fit, I recommend going down a size. They run pretty large, so on me, there is still a little extra room in a size down. You can see the red version of the shorts in this post. The top is from LOFT and runs true to size ( I’m wearing it in Petite XXS). I appreciate the extra panels at the arms to keep your bra from showing beneath the ruffles.

Sunday
I love the dresses at Boden for their quality and soft and dreamy fabrics. This dress is soft and stretchy and has a cutout detail on the back (above the bra line so you can wear a regular bra with it). I’m wearing this dress in Petite 2 and it fits me well, with a little bit of room. I’m typically a size 00/0 petite and Boden starts at a size 2 so some of their items work for me and some don’t, but of course, I only recommend the winning options.
