Although outfits for work with sneakers are some of the most popular posts on my blog – it’s been a while since I’ve done one! Many offices have a casual dress code now, but I know many people still love to dress with a little polish. Balancing business casual with sneakers is a great way to strike the smart-casual dress code that has started to dominate many workplaces. Plus, it’s really comfortable too. I also think these outfits would make great business travel and conference outfits.

Outfits for Work with Sneakers
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Comfortable Sneakers for Work
You can wear many different styles of sneakers, even adding personality with color if you want to. I personally prefer the look of a slim white sneaker. In the past, I styled my Veja sneakers with workwear, but I wanted to find a supportive and comfortable option for those who asked. I landed on a style from Vionic. They have a break-in period, but they have a truly supportive footbed that I think many of you will love. I wear these no-show socks with them.
With a Pencil Skirt
I think this skirt’s length and casual fabric make it a great accompaniment with the sneakers. I paired it with a longline blazer and a simple white sweater shell.

Smart Casual
A classic smart casual combination – matching blazer and pants with sneakers. I went to Las Vegas a few weeks ago, and while I was there, a big Cisco conference was happening – many of the ladies were rocking this stylish combination right here! You can also go for a tonal look like I did in the second outfit.

Jeans
I think a blazer is the hero of making an outfit with sneakers not look too casual, especially if you’re going to wear jeans.

Wide-Leg Pants
If you can find the right length, wide-leg trousers also look great with sneakers. My tip would be to keep your top tucked in and slim to balance the heavy bottom of this outfit. I’m wearing the Harper pants from Abercrombie here in short. They could use a tiny hem to work best with the sneakers on my height.

Dress
Wearing sneakers with a dress often has that “wrong shoe” look, and it works! I think sneakers look best with dresses that are above the knee.
