Petite-Friendly Day Dresses
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

As an extension of last week’s linen outfits post, I have a couple of great linen dresses to share with you.
Bungalow Popover Dress
Being petite, dresses like this one are often too long and overwhelming on my frame. I almost didn’t even try this dress because this style has always been a failure for me, but I’m so glad I did. This dress has a perfect length, and I think it is a great fit through the body as well – relaxed, but not too relaxed. The white colorway is lined in this dress, but I believe the other colors are not. My favorite part is how soft the linen is. Sometimes linen items can be slightly stiff, but this dress is dreamy (and not one bit see-through in white). I’m wearing it in my true size, Petite XXS. I paired it with the Capri sandals from J.Crew which are a new favorite. They’re a little bit dressy so they can dress up any outfit and look great with dresses. The straps have stretch to them and they’re comfortable right out of the box. True to size! They remind me of these Sezane sandals, but they are slightly less expensive.

Maxine Button-Back Dress
This linen dress comes in multiple colors and has a great fit all around. It’s not too big in the armholes and is a great petite length. This dress is unlined, so it’s a little bit sheer. I think it’s fine with nude undergarments, but you may also want to add a camisole slip. I’m wearing it in my true size, Petite XXS.

Puff Sleeve Dress
I originally styled this dress as a wear-to-work option but then decided it’s a little bit too short for that. It’s cute with ballet flats but would also look great with sandals and sneakers. This dress is unlined, with functional buttons up top and a drawstring waist.
