To say I’m uncomfortable being in a bathing suit on the internet is an understatement. But, I know the struggle of finding a one-piece suit that isn’t too long when you’re petite all too well. So, I’m braving it for you on this post to share a few I’ve found that fit well in length, but are also modest and easy to move around in.
Sizing Reference: I’m 4’10” and around 105lbs.

Aerie
Aerie has some of the best petite-friendly swimsuits around. I have a few from them, you may remember some from this post. Although XS is a close fit for me, I like to size up to small sometimes for a little room (less riding up in the back). I’m wearing a small in this suit and it fits me well overall but does have a little wiggle room. The back is full coverage and there are cups in the top.

Red Dress Palms Away
I have a few suits from Red dress and I love their Palms Away line. It is modest and well made. The back cover is not as full-coverage as my Aerie suits, but I still feel comfortable in them. I sized up to a size small in the top two suits, which was a great choice for the one-shoulder suit, but the yellow suit may be a better fit in XS.

J.Crew Factory
I’ve tried a couple of suits at J.Crew Factory and they’re well made, but they were not all petite-friendly. The one I ended up keeping is this ruched version. The ruching makes for a better petite fit and it’s an all-around modest suit I feel comfortable in. I’m wearing it in XS.
