After a year of postponed weddings, the season is back and from the number of requests I’ve received for wedding guest dresses, I can tell a lot of you have been invited! The truth is, I’ve been searching for wedding guest dresses for what feels like months and haven’t had the best luck. I finally landed on a few that I love and also had a little help from a few petite friends I can’t wait to introduce you to!
Petite Friendly Wedding Guest Dresses
My Sizing: I’m 4’10” and my bust, waist and hip measurements are: 32″, 24″, 36″.
Lace Dress
This lace dress comes in several colors and is a great option for Petites. I’m wearing it in XS and it has a tiny bit of extra room in the top. It also comes in XXS, but I think the bottom would have been too tight on me if I sized down.

Mini Dress
I bought this dress based on how small it looked on the model! The description also says “runs small” so I knew it was a good option. I bought this red one from Nordstrom, but when I was looking for links I also found it on Amazon in other colors that are cheaper. In general French Connection dresses run small and are a great option if you’re looking for special occasion dresses.

One Shoulder Dress
This dress is deceiving, it’s beautiful and elegant, but it’s a really comfortable jersey knit. It’s like wearing a t-shirt dress while still being fancy! I’m wearing it in XS and am really surprised that lengthwise it almost looks the same on me as it does on the model on the Lulus website. I recommend wearing a pair of Spanx shorts with this one for smooth lines.
