Wedding Guest Dresses
My Sizing: I’m 4’10” and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″ and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement of the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online.
I’ll start with my favorite dress. This pleated skirt dress has a handkerchief hem and empire waist that will have you twirling all night. This dress also has a unique back detail. Overall this dress is true to size (I’m wearing it in Petite XXS). It has adjustable straps, but the bust area is rather small, so this may not be the best dress for you if you’re large-chested. Due to the back detail, you can’t wear a regular bra with it, but it’s easy to add cups to it (that’s what I did here) or you can wear an adhesive bra. The dress is lined to the knee.
This dress is my second favorite. I love that you can wear a one-strap bra with this one and it’s comfortable to wear. I love the pleated detail and find it to fit true to size overall (I’m wearing it in Petite XXS). This dress also comes in other colors if you prefer a solid color.
The next dress is a beautiful deep blue and hugs your curves. I went up a size in this dress to accommodate the close fit. It is thick and stretchy so it will hold you in, but I also added Spanx Shorts underneath.
The last dress is in the same print as the pleated dress above – but it comes in lots of different options. It has adjustable straps and smocking at the back to stretch to your chest size. I went up a size in this dress expecting it to fit close, but I should have opted for my true size instead.
Dress Petite XS (recommend Petite XXS if you’re similar in size to me)
