Once upon a time, I found a petite-friendly pair of joggers on Amazon – and it was amazing. Amazing because petite-friendly joggers seem impossible to find. I know because I’ve been looking for them for years. The sad reality is the Amazon joggers sold out and have yet to be brought back. But, we’re all in luck – because I finally found a couple of options that I actually like more than the pair I found on Amazon – from Athleta.
I used to love shopping at Athleta, but once I started to find activewear options at Amazon and Aerie that I loved, I quit shopping at the more expensive athletic brands. Until last week when I put up a prompt on Instagram asking you what you wanted to see next and someone mentioned an Athleta try-on. I started browsing their site and lo and behold – the petite joggers I couldn’t seem to find for the last few years. Not just one pair, but a few options. In this post, I’m showing a slim athletic option and a soft (sweatpants material).

Petite-Friendly Joggers
My Sizing: I’m 4’10” and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″ and 36″. My typical inseam is 24-25″. The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online.
Rainier Jogger
First, the Rainier Jogger. This pair is slim fitting, with a stretch waistband. I’m wearing them in Petite XXS and they fit me well all around. Although the online description says these are mid-rise, I find them to be more of a high-rise on me. They have a 25″ inseam that is full-length for me. I appreciate that these don’t add a ton of weight to the legs and fit slim to the ankle. (I needed to tuck the pocket in in the first picture, oops!)

Balance Jogger
This pair is soft and is a little bit roomy on me. They would be great for lounging around the house, but you could also dress them up to wear out if you wanted to. They are overall lightweight (not super thick sweatpants). I’m wearing them in Petite XXS. They’re high-rise as well and there are other color options available, they have a 25″ inseam.

I only tried the two styles, but since both worked well for me, I would say give the other jogger options at Athleta a try too!
