Petite-Friendly Midi & Maxi Dresses
My Sizing: I’m 4’10” and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″ and 36″. My typical inseam is 24-25″. The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online.
J. Crew Factory
If you’re looking for a petite dress, definitely check out J.Crew Factory. It’s one of my favorite places to check for dresses with a great fit and often cute details. Two of the dresses in this post are from there and both are so comfortable and true to size.
Sleeveless Dress
This dress fits me well in Petite 00/XXS. It is fully lined with a sheer overlay. It has a really comfortable fit and I appreciate that the armholes don’t gape. You can wear this one with flats or heels.

Puff Sleeve Dress
This dress fits a little bit shorter than the dress above. It has a smocked top and the puff sleeves can be worn on and off the shoulder. The skirt is fully lined. (You can also wear a regular bra with this one.) I love it on its own with heels, but you can also dress it down with sneakers and a denim jacket.

My favorite dress from last year is back again this year! You may remember the yellow print from my blog last season, but this year I added this pretty blue and white print. I’m wearing it in XXS and it fits me well. The straps are wide enough that you can wear a regular bra with it and it’s just all-around very comfortable! The skirt is lined and I love that you can dress it up and down.

Boden
If you’re looking for something that’s soft and comfortable, you’ll love the dresses at Boden. This jersey dress is a little roomy on me, but the belted waist pulls it all together. I pinned the neckline because the v-neck dips a little low for my comfort level. I’m wearing it in Petite 2.
