I keep finding things at Old Navy that I absolutely love! I was looking for some pieces to build a requested style session, one week of casual outfits for a stay-at-home mom, when I came across a couple of really great basic t-shirts and t-shirt dresses that I not only love, I think you’ll love them too.
Petite Old Navy Summer Picks
My Sizing: I’m 4’10” around 105 pounds. I’m typically a size XXS/XS/00/0
T-Shirt Dresses
I don’t always have the best luck with the fit of dresses from Old Navy, but lately, I have! I’m hoping that maybe it’s a sign they’ve adjusted some of their sizing, but I’ll also take it if I’ve just been lucky instead. It doesn’t get more comfortable than a t-shirt dress and this one has a great petite fit! The dress is 100% cotton, so it feels really well made, not at all thin. I think the length is great and the overall body fit is on point, the only fit issue with the dress is the armholes, which are large enough to show your bra underneath. I wear a cami with them to solve that issue.

Vintage Sleeveless Tops and O.G. Denim Shorts
The vintage sleeveless tops come in several prints and colors and they just might be my favorite casual and comfortable top for summer. These tops are also 100% cotton and feel really well made. I’ve bought t-shirts from Old Navy in the past that felt thin and cheap, but these are the total opposite. The fit is a little oversized and boxy and the arm holes are larger just like the dress.
My white shorts are not from Old Navy, but both denim pairs are and I highly recommend them! They’re true to size and really comfortable. No ride up in the back and no booty shorts action going on.
