I love denim shorts, but you can’t beat the comfort of a pair of lightweight pull-on shorts. I have two pairs to share with you today. One from Old Navy (in two prints) and a pair from Abercrombie.

Printed Shorts Three Ways
My Sizing: I’m 4’10” and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″ and 36″. My typical inseam is 24-25″. The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online.
Old Navy Playa Shorts
The first pair in the post are the Playa Shorts from Old Navy. This pair is lightweight and breathable, with a comfortable elastic waistband at the back. I find them to be a little roomy on me in XS, but it’s a comfortable fit overall. I’m sharing two prints in this post, but they come in 9 different prints and colors.
In the first outfit, I paired them with a mock neck black tank, also from Old Navy. When it comes to basic t-shirts and layering pieces, Old Navy is one of my favorite places to check. They often offer petite sizing in their t-shirts, which isn’t something you see a lot of. The top in this post fits me well in Petite XS with a slim fit. The platform espadrilles are from Amazon and also come in lots of color options. They’re true to size, comfortable, and easy to walk in.
The denim jacket I’m wearing in this post is from Madewell. I’m wearing it in XXS and it has an oversized fit. If you prefer a closer fit, I recommend this one from LOFT.

In the next outfit I paired the shorts with a one shoulder top from Old Navy. This top fits me well in Petite XS. It has a slim fit in the body with ribbed fabric and also comes in other color options.

Abercrombie
The last pair of pull-on shorts in this post is a pair from Abercrombie. This pair is a little bit thicker than the first two and also a little bit shorter. They have a ruffle around the bottom and a sweet neutral print. If you love a matching set, this pair has a matching top. I’m wearing them in XS and find them to run a little bit small. My exact top is from Madewell and fits me well in XXS. I will link another option from Target as well.
