Y’all, I done stepped out of my nude shoe box, and bought a pair of red ones. When it comes to buying bags and shoes, I have a really hard time buying something I feel like I won’t wear enough. So, most of my shoes tend to be tan – or some variation of it. My leopard shoes are about as far away from tan as I go. I really don’t even wear black shoes – who am I?! Boring, that’s who.
Sam Edelman Red Flats
So, I stepped out of my comfort zone and bought this cute pair of red flats, and I don’t think I’m ever going back. I LOVE THEM! They not only add a little color to my pale winter feet, they’re a lot more versatile that I originally thought. I played dress up one day and styled them a few different ways – for the blog, and really for myself too.
4 Ways to Wear Red Shoes
Red Shoes With White and Plaid
I wore this outfit to church on Sunday. I had Sunday school to teach, so I wanted to be comfortable. The outfit is essentially a sweatshirt and jeans, but it’s a little more fun with the red flats and plaid scarf! Plus, I was extra warm on a cold and dreary day.

Turtleneck With Red Shoes
Same jeans, different top and fun earrings! Once I put on these red earrings, I started to picture so many different outfits pulling the reds together! This otherwise very basic outfit feels a little more fun to me with just a simple pair of earrings and the red shoes. P.S. – the sweater is amazing! So soft and comfortable, and probably going to be on sale until it sells out at LOFT.

Camel and White with Red Shoes
Here I go wearing white after labor day. Winter white is beautiful in my opinion, and very festive mixed with red! I put the scarf back on to give it a little extra, and it pulled all of the colors back together!

Mom Jeans and Red Shoes
We were watching the first Santa Clause movie this weekend and Steven was like look, it’s your pants! LOL! The 90’s are back, and while I love these pants, he was right – I’m looking just like Charlie’s mom here. The color scheme is similar to the white and camel outfit above, but I added a little leopard instead of the scarf. It’s classic and feels a little less holiday to me.

The shoes themselves are a pair I already own in nude, so I knew I would love them. They do take a little time to break in, but I think they’re beautiful! Just don’t forget to protect them before wearing them.
So, which outfit is your favorite?
