When it comes to closet staples, I think every girl needs at least one good blazer. A blazer is a pretty compliment to skirts, dresses, and of course pants – but it can also dress up a casual shorts or jeans outfit.

Six Ways to Wear a White Blazer
I wanted to show the versatility of the blazer with this style post, so I dressed it up and dressed it down – I even found a petite friendly pair of joggers to wear with it!
With Joggers
I’ll start with the joggers because they were a hot topic on Instagram last week. I was searching everywhere I could possibly think of to find a petite pair of joggers and they just didn’t seem to exist. I asked for suggestions in my stories and some offered up help, while the vast majority said, “pleassseee let me know if you get any good tips.” Petite joggers are hard to find, and while Athleta and Topshop were recommended to me, I really wanted a pair that wasn’t athletic or sweatpants. I found this linen pair at Nordstrom and they were just what I was looking for. They were a little snug around the hips and backside on me at first, but the linen stretches out nicely.
For this outfit, I paired the joggers with a simple white tank and heels.

With a Dress
I love to wear a blazer with a dress, especially if it is a little bit longer than a traditional cut (like this white one). I would also wear this outfit with a pair of wedges or my favorite Steve Madden slides! Since my dress is a custom dress, I am going to link a few other cute options you can shop.

I think this blend of casual and dressed up works with the shoe choice. I jumped on the popularity train with these sandals and ended up LOVING them! So much so, that I ordered the tan too, I just have to wait patiently for those. I think they dress this outfit up a bit, but I could also see it done with a pair of wedges!

Don’t worry, it was almost an even tie, so the shorts are coming up next. These shorts are the linen version of the seaside shorts I’ve been wearing here and there on the blog. I think I may prefer the linen version, for the color options, and the comfort!

This outfit is exact to an outfit I wore in my denim jacket style session, I just swapped the denim jacket for the blazer. I think the swap gives the outfit a completely different look! Sometimes all you need is a few different jackets to mix up your wardrobe.
In case you’ve missed my style notes on this skirt before, the skirt is sheer – I don’t want to encourage you to buy something and then you be shocked it’s almost see through. I layer mine with a nude slip and it solves all of the see through issues!
