This style session has been a long time coming. Over a month ago Conni from Art In The Find reached out to me about collaborating on a style session, I quickly said yes! I love Conni’s style and creativity. She recommended we both style a really cute leopard slip skirt from Social Threads. My favorite part about this skirt is the use of navy instead of black in the leopard print, it’s unique and I think makes for a light and pretty print for any time of year.
I had my skirt tailored, which is where the long time coming part came from. I took the skirt up a few inches as well as took in the sides a little bit, so keep that in mind when you see how it fits me. I don’t tailor my clothes often, simply because of the extra cost, but if I love something enough (like this skirt) I will!
4 Ways to Style a Slip Skirt
I mostly styled the skirt dressed up, but Conni does a great job of showing how you can also dress it down! I could also see it with a cute pair of sandals and a simple tee this summer.
With a Blazer
In my style session video, I only show this outfit with the chambray top, but I love it topped with the blazer.

With a Denim Jacket
I styled this skirt with a denim jacket twice! I personally love a denim jacket with a skirt, so I just couldn’t help myself.

With A Sweater
I love the look of a chunky sweater with a slip skirt, but it’s overwhelming on me. So, I tucked my fitted sweater into the skirt for a similar effect, without being too heavy on my petite frame.

Denim Part Two
Finally, the second denim jacket outfit. You can ditch the jacket for a really cute spring ready look! I love my simple white button down, it’s a closet classic I think every girl needs.

The Coronavirus definitely has us staying home, but I’m trying to keep this blog running as usual! Be sure to watch the style session that goes along with post and let me know what you would like to see next!
