Spring Day Dresses
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Dropped Waist Dress
This J.Crew dress is so well made. It is sustainably sourced stretch cotton on top and cotton poplin on the bottom. The fabric is substantial and the skirt is fully-lined. The stretch top is double lined as well, so it’s not one bit see through. Not all J.Crew dresses come in a petite option, but this one does – so it’s a perfect fit. For reference I’m wearing it in Petite XXS. This dress measures 45″ from shoulder to hem.

Cotton Navy Dress
This 100% cotton poplin dress is the mini version of the midi I shared last week. Neither comes in petite, but the mini option is well proportioned for petites. In XXS, it is 32″ from shoulder to hem. I love the drawstring waist on this one as well.

White Mini Dress
If you’re looking for a mini dress – and I mean mini – this linen blend dress from Abercrombie is a great option. In petite it is 28″ from shoulder to hem – so if you prefer a little more length, I would choose regular length instead. It is fully lined, has functional buttons and a tie at the back. I went up a size in this dress for the best fit.

Denim Dress
Another Abercrombie dress, but in this one I went for regular sizing. I’m wearing this denim dress in XS here and love the fit. It is 30″ from shoulder to hem – so it’s plenty short. The buttons are fully functional and the denim is substantial – with low stretch.
