No matter what size you are, an awesome feeling comes from trying on something that just fits. If you’re petite like me, I’m sure you’ve encountered all the woes of an ill-fitting petite fit: armholes too open, chest too low, shoulders and waist dropped, and sleeves/pants too long. Maybe you didn’t even realize those things made something look “off” on you. Even in petite, not every brand gets it right, but if there was a brand that nails the petite fit almost every single time, it’s LOFT. Of course not everything is a winning pick, but when I get a LOFT order in, I always get excited about the fit! Today I have four outfits from a recent LOFT order that made me feel great, so I think you’ll love them too.

Spring Outfit Mix
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Navy Dress
This dress is a new favorite! I try my best not to call everything my favorite because there are many things I try and love, but ever since I got this dress, I’ve wanted to wear it as much as possible. This dress fits perfectly everywhere: the sleeves, the chest, and the length are all well-proportioned. The dress is soft, stretchy knit and doesn’t wrinkle easily. I could wear this one right out of the package; no steaming was required. It’s true to size.

White Poplin Dress
This white dress has a roomy fit, but I love that! It has a slip style lining that has adjustable straps. It’s cotton poplin, so you can expect this dress to wrinkle with wear.

Matching Set
I first spotted this top on LOFT’s website and was smitten – oh but then I saw the shorts! Both pieces are great don’t their own, but I love them worn as a set. Both the top and bottom are true to size, I’m wearing Petite XXS for reference.

Cropped Wide-Leg Pants
The Palmer pants are a cropped wide-leg style. They are so cute for spring and summer. They have a great petite length and fit true to size. They will stretch with wear, so you may want to try a size down to accommodate the stretch. If the striped version isn’t your favorite, these pants also come in other colors.
