In this post I’m styling a classic pair of black pants four ways for spring. The pants I used are the new cameron pants from J.Crew. I first styled them in my fall workwear capsule post.

I wanted to use them since they were most likely purchased already by many of you, but they have since sold out in petite. So, if you’re in need a new pair of black pants, this pair is a great option, as well as this pair.
Spring Outfits for Work: Black Pants Four Ways
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

With a Short Sleeve Sweater
This outfit is simple and classic. The sweater fits well in my true size and I love that it has a little bit of texture. It also comes in a few other color options.

With a Blazer
This Ann Taylor blazer is soft and lightweight. It will be a great piece for layering with in mild spring temperatures. It is true to size overall but the sleeves are a tiny bit long, so I’m wearing them pushed back. I also styled this blazer with jeans in this post.

With a Jacket
I called this a blazer in another post, but here it’s a jacket – it’s both in my mind. I love this jacket with matching pants but it’s also a beautiful piece to be mixed with other color pants and skirts. The jacket is true to size, but the sleeves are a little bit long. With a Vest
This vest is boxy and oversized, making it a perfect pairing with slim pants. You often seen vests styled without a top underneath so I made it a point to show a realistic option with it worn over a top. I chose a button-down as my base layer, but you could also go with a slim fit t-shirt.
