Summer Dress and Skirt Mix

The numbers don’t lie—dresses are your favorite. So, I’m continuing my hunt for the best petite-friendly dresses! Today, I have four options to share with you: three dresses and one maxi skirt that makes a statement. As always, these dresses are unaltered and petite-friendly right from the store.

My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

Maxi Skirt

This maxi skirt brings all the twirls! This tiered skirt gives the illusion of height if you wear it with a pair of heels or wedges. If this print isn’t your favorite, it also comes in other prints. I’m wearing it here in Petite 0 and find it to fit true to size overall.

Wrap Dress

I first shared this Quince dress in brown last summer. I loved it so much that I bought this beautiful green option this year. The dress is stretchy and has a functional wrap at the waist. It’s comfortable, but it’s not forgiving, so you may want to pair it with spanx shorts.

White Dress

I love a summer white dress. This one is great for dressing up with wedges or wearing casually with flat sandals. It fits true to size overall and is fully lined and has pockets!

Linen Dress

This linen blend dress is lightweight and has a functional tie at the waist. I styled it for work in this post, but I also love wearing it as I did here. I find it to be true to size overall. I’ve had a lot of requests for graduation dresses for the graduate, and I think this one could be a great option (of course, if the neckline of your gown allows).
