I share many different styles on my blog to give you some variety when looking for a petite fit, but like most people – I’m a creature of habit when it comes to getting dressed day to day. I was asked recently if I would share my summer sandals in one place. Although the season is winding down, there is still lots of warm weather left and many of my favorites are now on sale. So, while I’ll share a rundown of all the sandals in my wardrobe at the bottom of this post, I’m focusing on my top three, most worn pairs this season, and how I most often wear them.

My Most Worn Summer Sandals
I tend to wear a size 5 in shoes, sometimes I go down to 4.5.
When it comes to sandals and shoes in general, I prefer nude or light colors. Not only because they go with everything, but they help my legs look a little bit longer as well.
Slim Minimal Sandal
I actually wear a few different pairs of minimal sandals, but most of them are from previous seasons and are unfortunately no longer available. So I’m focusing on a pair I bought from Amazon this year that I wear often. These fit slim and are light raffia (there are also lots of other color options in this style). They look great with really anything, but I most often wear these with dresses and skirts of any length or something I want to break up from being heavy like wide-leg pants. I wear them in my true size 5, but they do run narrow, if that is a fit issue for you I would recommend sizing up.

Two Strap Platform Sandals
My most worn pair of sandals this year is a two-strap platform sandal from Madewell. I wear these most often with jeans, shorts, and casual dresses that are above the knee. Flat Espadrille
I love a wedge espadrille, but what I love even more – is a flat pair! However, this style is a little bit trickier to wear than the wedge. I personally think they look best with dresses and skirts that are above the knee and shorts or rompers. They’re a little heavy to wear with jeans, but I have been able to pull them off with midi dresses just maybe not every single one. They run true to size.
