My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream, The Fun Snack to Serve at Your Next Party
What is My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream?
I’m starting here, because that was my initial response to seeing these sweet little dough balls. I was thinking, are they freezer burnt? Why do they look dusty? Well let me just say, they aren’t freezer burnt, or dusty, they’re coated in corn starch, so the sweet dough doesn’t get too sticky. Also, so you can pick them up and eat them! They are made from a sweet, soft, chewy rice dough. I learned through a little research that this dough is used in Japan and is very popular in Asia, but for me over here in the US, it was brand new. The My/Mo Mochi brand creates their snacks with only high quality ingredients, which y’all know that’s something I appreciate. Since I do love ice cream, and the ingredients list wasn’t something scary, I knew it was worth getting a little adventurous and trying something new. So what did I think?
How Does My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream Taste?
Good! It is a texture and flavor combination I haven’t tried before. The dough is soft and fluffy, almost like a marshmallow and pairs perfectly with the cool creamy ice cream. I personally tried Ripe Strawberry, and enjoyed it. The shape and fun colors are what made me immediately think of a pool party snack, or just something new and fun to serve my friends for girl’s night. My local Publix was out of Salted Caramel when I went shopping, but if I happen to spot that flavor next time, I’ll be trying them for sure. I LOVE salted caramel anything!
Where Can I Find My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream?
You can find their store locator and available flavors on their website. I personally found mine at Publix, and also noted they were available at Whole Foods in my area. Check out their Instagram page (and my post too) to enter to win 1 year supply of My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream and a trip to the MOIC in San Francisco!
Have you tried My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream or something similar? I would love to know what you think!
