Trending 2014: Fashion Wishes

Trends I am loving and not loving
by: Brooke Anderson, CPT

It’s almost February. In my neck of the woods, that means it is only a couple of months away from Spring and the joys of skirts without tights!

Remember a couple of weeks ago I was singing the Winter fashion praises. Well, as I typically do, I changed my mind quickly and am now onto swooning over the ultra feminine fashion trends of 2014.

I can’t wait to wear white, blush and flattering A line skirts. Fashion trends always cycle around, interestingly enough, this season is cycling back to some of the trends that were hot when I was in high school. The thought of being grunge and tying a shirt around my waist is a little bit comical at the moment, bringing back the memories of my super high bangs that accompanied that shirt around the waist style (and lets be clear, super high, super hair sprayed bangs, should never cycle back around).

While I may not be jumping on the grunge trend, I will be loving another feminine 2014 trend and the wealth of gorgeous skirts, fabrics like lace and tulle and rocking chic black and white combos.

Here are just a few of my favorite things that are on my wish list as soon as the weather warms just a bit!

Blush & White

The Valentino skirt…yeah that is just a fantasy, but a girl can dream on her wish list, right?
