Reality is I only share a small portion of what I’m actually wearing on this blog. Thanks to time constraints and juggling life, Steven and I don’t get out for official pics very often. So I decided to try something new this past week, and just snapped a few pictures each day before I went out, in the mirror. Common practice among bloggers, a little different for me. You’ll have to let me know if you like these kind of posts!
Wear to Work Outfit
I wear these girlfriend chinos to work often. I have them in this pink color, olive, red and light blue. I highly recommend them. I’ve also worn them on the blog here and here. This gingham top is a staple in my wardrobe too. I wear it year round and it happens to be available at J. Crew pretty much year round. It is a little oversized, so if you want a closer fit I would size down. I’m personally wearing a petite XS. The flats are also something I wear very often. They’re classic, and yes they’re suede, but they have held up! If you want to know how I keep them clean and looking fresh, check out this post.
Casual Mom Outfit
Top | Shorts | Shoes | Lilly x Swell | Bag
I wore this for a day full of mommin. You can see two little boys waiting in the hallway in the background. We were heading the park and to run errands. I wear these denim shorts quite often, which is pretty apparent from my posts. Be sure to read this post on the sizing. The top is something that came from a recent Trunk from Trunk Club. I haven’t posted my trunks lately because they haven’t been big wins, but I did love this top! It runs a little large, I’m wearing a petite xxs and you can see it still has plenty of room. Of course, the TB Millers are on heavy rotation and the Longchamp bag is a total mom bag staple. I take this to the splash park with us often because it easily holds all the water bottles, towels and changes of clothes. The Lilly swell bottle I totally jumped on the second they were released. Jokes on me because there are still plenty available about a month later.
Wear to Work Outfit
This dress was one of those Old Navy girls section finds, that is sadly sold out! I have a lot of luck with ON girls dresses, I tend to wear a size L if you’re wondering. I topped it with my J. Crew Schoolboy blazer which is a classic and something you can grab on sale off season. I own this blazer in tan also, and own it in two sizes. This blue one is a petite XS and the tan one is a regular XS. personally I prefer the regular XS, the petite is a little tight in the shoulders on me. Then there are the flats that I wear all the time.
Travel Outfit
Shoes | Shorts | Top | Cardigan | Bag
I shared this on Instagram before we headed to the beach. It was the perfect outfit for a long car ride. I picked up this top from the Nordstrom sale, as well as the cardigan and the TB Wallet Cross Body. The striped top is the prettiest shade of pink, and it’s very well made. Nice and thick and soft. I sized up to a petite small, but I probably could have taken a regular because the sleeves ended up being a tad short on me.
Finally, this one I’m just sharing for the fun of it. This is the white version of the girls ON dress I shared above, which is sold out. I wore it at the beach this week and it was perfect! The beach involved a lot of messy hair, little makeup and snuggles with these babies. Family time is the best time.
Hope you liked this little look at my daily attire, let me know if you like posts like this, I’ll do more!
