Starbucks released the pumpkin spiced latte last week, so if you ask me, it’s legit fall around here. We won’t get into the fact that I don’t actually like the PSL or that it’s probably still 90 degrees where you are (it is here). The pumpkin has been released, which means it’s high time to break out the leopard too.
I love all the sweaters, boots and crock pot recipes that go with fall, but leopard print, continues to be high on my favorites list year after year. I don’t wear it any other time of the year, but come fall, it comes out. There is just something about the blend of brown and black that takes almost any outfit from plain to full on fabulous, in my opinion.
Since I tend to only wear leopard in the form of an accessory, it’s also totally appropriate to start weaving it into your wardrobe now, even though it’s raging hot still, and also not officially fall.
My previous pair of leopard flats served me well for many years, but after one of them ended up in the washing machine somehow, they were in need of a replacement. So I did a little shopping this year, found a few really great pairs and ended up with this pair.
I loved several that I tried, but chose this pair for its combination of price and the way they looked on my feet. However, this pair was not the only pair I loved, I also loved these:

Now, I know what you’re thinking, how hot was it when you wore this sweater? At least that’s what my friend asked me when she saw the picture, lol! Yes, it was hot, a little miserable, but I wanted to get this cute sweater on the blog for you before it sells out. It has such sweet ruffles around the collar, and is the perfect weight for fall. It also comes in several colors and looks cute tucked into a skirt or even worn with shorts. Stock up for fall now girls!

So, what about you – are you rocking leopard print and drinking PSLs? Bring on fall!
