Winter White Denim

White denim year round, it’s a thing, it’s been a thing – but for me, wearing white denim into winter, is a first. I’ve always loved the look of white denim on other people, but it wasn’t until I found this pair from LOFT, that I wanted to wear it over and over again, all year round. If you’re short like me, there is a good chance you will love this pair too.

In the curvy fit, my white denim pants are only $12.00. They’re final sale, which is a bummer, but at that price it’s not a big gamble. I’ll tell you what I love about them; they’re not see through, on a short girl like they me, they’re the perfect length, and they have the cutest little flare at the bottom, which is perfect for a pear shape! Although I prefer to wear these pants with a pair of flats (ignore my winter white feet), they would be just as cute with a pair of booties!

On this particular day, I wore them with a holiday plaid scarf, red sweater and leopard flats. There are quite a few prints going on in this outfit, but I personally like it! If you’re not one for a lot of prints, you can easily swap the leopard flats for a pair of neutral ones, I debated on wearing my nude loafers, I wore here, instead.

J. Crew Factory City Coat

Although I think I’ve only shared my city coat on the blog once, this coat has been well loved since last year. If you’re on the fence about one, I’ll tell you what I love about it, and what I don’t love about it, a year later. First, I love the color! It’s such a pretty camel color, that J.Crew refers to as mushroom. The coat also has plenty of room in the shoulders and arms, so it’s comfortable to layer with and easy to move around in. However, that is one thing that I love/hate about this coat. It’s great from a comfort perspective, but as far as fit, it makes me look pretty large in the shoulders when I wear it. The coat doesn’t come in petite, which is another drawback. Last, a year later, this coat has started to pill and look a little worn. Yes, the coat is less expensive than a J.Crew jacket, but it is still not a cheap coat, so I’m a little disappointed in the wear. This year I purchased a Chateau Parka from J.Crew on Black Friday, which on sale was similar in price to the city coat. I’m still waiting for it to come in, but I’ll let you know how it compares in quality once I get my hands on it!

Thanks to this pair of white jeans from LOFT that I feel good in, I’ll be rocking them all year long! What about you?
