I once thought I couldn’t pull off wide-leg trousers. Although they’ve been popular for the last year, I didn’t even think about trying them until recently. Come to find out – wide-leg trousers actually look pretty good on someone who is petite. This pair in particular has a pinched high waist that gives the illusion of legs for days, or just legs for a minute in my case. Although the length works best on me with a pair of heels, these can be styled with flats for the trendy puddle look. You could also have them hemmed if you want to try to wear them with flats more often.

I really need a hem to wear these with flats and I’m tempted to do so. I love them with heels, but they’re so comfortable they would be even more comfortable with flats. If you have a couple of inches on me you could rock this look as is!

With a Blazer
I need Ann Taylor to put this blazer out in a solid color. It’s the “Greenwich” blazer and it’s the perfect balance of an oversized on-trend fit that’s not too crazy for Petites. It’s also really soft and comfortable and easy to push the sleeves up. I love this plaid print, but I’ll be on the lookout for a solid option too!
