I’m one of those people who is always cold. Even in the dead of summer, you can find me running a heater in my office at work. So, as soon as the temperatures outside start to drop, I start to pile on the layers. I wish I could go through life wrapped in a blanket, but my everyday life calls for a little more practicality. So, I wear things that resemble small blankets instead, and I layer up with hard working layers from Cuddl Duds.
Cold Weather Comfort Meets Style
A friend of mine introduced me to Cuddl Duds a few years ago, when we were out on our annual Black Friday shopping trip. She told me how much she loved wearing their warm layers during the winter. So, I bought a set for each of my boys to wear under their snow clothes. The sets worked great, my boys were warm and cozy in their layers, and I kept buying those set year after year. I would have purchased a pair for myself, but let’s just say I would rather stay indoors when it snows instead.
Cuddl Duds Softwear
Here I am thinking Cuddl Duds is just for my boys, when I met their Softwear line; a deliciously warm, daily layer, for women. The Softwear line is exactly as the name suggests. soft, stretchy, and warm. Something that I can most definitely get down with. I recently tried a couple of tops, for the first time, it was love at first wear.
Cuddl Duds Softwear line is full of everyday basics, that are oh so comfortable and layer beautifully with my daily outfits. The tops I’m wearing in this post are soft, stretchy and look great dressed up and dressed down.
#LiveInLayers with Cuddl Duds
Under my poncho, I’m wearing an olive Softwear top, and I just love the combination of olive and tan. Funny story about my poncho, I wore it to work the other day and as we were heading out the door my three-year-old said, “Momma, why are you wearing a blanket?” Oh, boys – they will probably never understand half of my style choices.
I’m wearing a basic black, long sleeve Softwear top under my burgundy jacket, with a pair of black denim. Black is not typically a color I reach for often, but lately I find myself wanting to wear it more! Plus, I love that I can wear these black jeans to work.
In both outfits, I’m not only warm, but comfortable, and cute. At least I feel cute. I can see adding a few more of these Softwear tops to my wardrobe in the future.
The warmth and comfort doesn’t stop at just tops. The Softwear line also has leggings, joggers, and tank tops. After trying the tops, I can’t wait to get my hands on a pair of those leggings! While I don’t love to get out in the snow come winter, I’m thinking these cozy layers could convince me otherwise – I know my boys would appreciate that.
So what about you? Are you a cold weather loving girl? How do you wear your winter layers?
