I’m planning a new workwear winter capsule series for January, so as a precursor to those posts, I created a series of workwear posts separated by different colored trousers and one bonus post with a few skirts and dresses styled for winter. In these posts you’ll see similar items, much like a capsule style series, that can be paired with different colored bottoms. You’ll also be seeing a few of these versatile pieces in the full capsule as well. Stay tuned for that!

Winter Outfits for Work: w/ White Pants
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Can you wear white pants in the winter?
Before we get started, let’s address the elephant in the room. Can you wear white pants in the winter? Yes! The white we wear in the winter is winter white. It’s softer, cream or off-white, and the fabrics are heavier and warmer. It’s not the same as the stark bright white we wear in the spring and the summer. The pants in this post are thick and warm and the white is a soft tone. The pants are true to size and pair beautifully with light neutral boots.
