Keeping a Straight Face & Oh, Hey Girl! Link-Up

I love using emojis when I text. Emojis give texting what it was lacking previously, emotion. My favorite emoji, is the straight face. You know what I’m talking about?

This guy

He makes bad situations, hilarious if you ask me. For example, here are just a few real life situations, that the straight face emoji was totally appropriate:

“Just drove off with my $4.00 cup of Starbucks coffee, that I waited 20 minutes for, only to realize it was made incorrectly.”
“I just busted my toddler taking a #2 in the yard. is this real life?“
“Have you seen my shoes? I’m late and can only find one.” yeah I take the time to text when I’m running late, lol
“Girl, that 100 page fax you just sent, yeah it didn’t go through.”
“Just ripped a hole in my new shirt.”
“The baby just pooped through his clothes…all over my clothes.”
“Someone drank all the coffee this morning.”

All pretty mundane statements, but if you just imagine that little straight face guy at the end, it’s pretty comical. Do you use emojis? If so, do you have a favorite?

All jokes aside, I couldn’t leave today’s post without spreading the word about a great cause that Vitamin Shoppe is participating in throughout the month of November. Stop it!! You are getting too cute!! I swear you get cuter and cuter in every post!! I have my plaid blanket scarf on today too and I need that emoji a lot. No more #2 on me or in the yard, but these teen boys have pee all over ALL our toilet seats!! And a 20 min wait to have a wrong coffee…that is just cruel to us mamas!! I don’t know if you have an iPhone but if you did the update there are so many new emojis. My favorite one is the nerdy one haha. I use it for everything. I’ve used the straight face emoji so many times!

I love EMOJIS too. Wish most comments on blogs would accept them. I use the ones on Facebook a lot and no hadn’t seen the straight face guy but I love it. I also love that outfit.
