I don’t share a lot of office style here on the blog, and to be honest, I’m not sure why. I do only spend two days week at the office, so work attire is a smaller part of my wardrobe, but it’s still part of it! My office style is pretty classic – slacks, skirts, blazers and button downs for the most part, and always a comfortable pair of shoes. I work as an administrator in a small medical practice. So, when I’m there I spend a lot of time up and down, and back and forth. My boss jokes he can always hear me coming down the hall to talk because of my fast footsteps. I’m a fast walker – probably because I’ve spent most of my life trying to keep up with people with longer legs than me. So, anyway – the shoes I wear have to be comfortable and cute! In comes the pump from Naturalizer you’ll actually want to wear from 9 to 5.

Naturalizer is long known for making stylish shoes that are also functional “shoes with a beautiful fit”. I personally have had a few pairs that I’ve loved to wear to work over the years. This spring they launched a new line with the modern woman in mind. Their spring styles are fresh, on-trend and still oh so comfortable. This pair in particular immediately caught my eye, because of the color and the cute chunky heel. I felt like they were not only on-trend, but would be comfortable. Comfortable, they are! The footbed is padded and heavenly and the toe box being rounded, doesn’t pinch at all.
Since my wardrobe is heavy in pink and navy, you can also assume, it’s one of my favorite color combinations. So, when I saw these shoes, I immediately thought they would be pretty with a pair of navy slacks and my seersucker blazer. This seersucker blazer was an awesome sale find years ago from Banana Republic, I think I ultimately paid around $25 for it, such a win!
I will also mention how high quality the suede on the shoe is. If you look closely there is a little tiny drop of water on the toe of the shoe. I normally always treat suede shoes before wearing them and in this case I didn’t! If you know suede, you know suede easily ruins if it gets wet. When we went to shoot these pictures, I saw that the grass was wet, despite hubby actually carrying me across the grass (which the boys thought was hilarious) the shoes still got a little wet. I’m happy to say, the suede wasn’t phased by the moisture and dried perfectly! I was honestly, really impressed.
Now, the fit – they are so comfortable and roomy, but you can tell in this pictures that the shoes are a little too big for me. They do run slightly on the large side. This is a size five, for reference. I fixed the problem easily with a couple of heel pads, one of my many tricks for getting shoes to fit!
Although these pumps are oh so comfortable for a long day at the office, they’re also versatile enough to wear with a pair of jeans and even chase a toddler or two in. What shoes do you love to wear to work?
