$50 Relaxed Jeans

You may remember my first post with $50 organic cotton jeans from Quince. The High Rise Straight Jeans from that post became the most popular pair of jeans I’ve ever shared. I received rave review after rave review of those jeans. Most of you love the soft stretchy denim and the petite-friendly fit. Many of you asked me to review more of the jeans from Quince, so I’m back today with a review of a relaxed straight style.

My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

The jeans are made with organic cotton and have the same stretchy denim that the original straight pair has. What I love the most about the denim at Quince is it doesn’t bag out. It’s comfortable right out of the wash and so far I haven’t noticed any shrinkage. The jeans are made with organic cotton and are well constructed. The quality is something you would expect from a $100 pair of jeans, but half the price.

Style & Fit

The jeans are a relaxed straight leg, which to me is pretty much a slim wide leg. They are fitted through the hips and are relaxed through the leg. They are true to size.

Inseam

The jeans come in a 28″ and 30″ inseam option. I chose 28″ which is a tiny bit too long for me with a pair of flats. Wearing them with a little bit of bunching at the feet is an on-trend look that you can absolutely wear. But, for a sleek look, the jeans look the best with a low 1-2″ heel (if you’re similar in height to me). Otherwise the jeans are true to size and come in a light and medium wash. I’m wearing the medium wash (Atlantic Blue) in this post.
