You haven’t really worn anything that “fits like a glove” until you’ve tried a dress that was made, just for you. No gapping at the back, no low arm holes, no waist that doesn’t hit at the waist or a bust that doesn’t hit at the bust – just a dress that truly fits. I personally thought that sort of thing didn’t exist unless you had a little extra to spend, or had the time to take everything to a tailor, that was until I was introduced to eShakti.

eShakti Custom Clothes
I first found out about eShakti years ago when Erica and I worked with them. I was pregnant at the time, so even though the dress was made to my measurements, I had exaggerated my measurements to accommodate my growing bump. I thought eShakti was cool then, but I don’t think I really got to experience it.
How Does eShakti work?
eShakti sells clothes in standard sizing, but they also make many of their items according to your measurements. However, the customization doesn’t end there. You can also change things about the garment, like the sleeves, length, and neckline. Online this dress is shown a midi length with long sleeves. I chose to have it made sleeveless, and knee length.
But is it expensive?
You would think a well made, custom garment would be expensive, but the prices will surprise you at eShakti. This dress is $59.95. I’ve paid that for a cheap polyester dress from a boutique and twice that for some of my favorite dresses from J.Crew.
How long does it take to come in?
After I placed my order, my package was on my doorstep in about two weeks. It was so well wrapped, you could tell it had been previously pressed and was on a hanger, you don’t see that often in online shopping.
Can I return it?
The ability to make a return is important to me. While I haven’t had to return anything to eShakti, their return policy says they will take back unworn items within 30 days, even custom items!

This dress and how well it fits is making it hard for me to overlook the fit issues I have with a few other things I own. I’ve only tried the dresses from eShakti, but they offer tops, skirts, and pants too! I’m looking forward to trying more after having such a great experience.
