Today’s beautiful plaid dress is courtesy of one genius of a company, eShakti. I would say I wish I had thought of it myself, but truly, I lack 90% of the skills necessary to make it happen. Their concept is simple, customization made easy and affordable. Each eShakti item can be purchased as is or you can submit your personal measurements for a tailored fit and can even choose details such as hem length and sleeve length. Personalization is typically a costly affair. Most items, especially dresses, that I’ve had tailored, more than doubled in cost. eShakti on the other hand, offers this personalization while still keeping their costs in check. I’m telling you, I’m in love.

When they reached out to Erica and I and offered us the opportunity to try out their customization process I was immediately thrilled, then a little nervous. With a growing baby bump I was worried my review wouldn’t be accurate. However, I sent in my measurements, inflated waistline and all, and was pleasantly surprised to receive a dress that fit me and my bump perfectly. I hate to gush, but the excitement is real, finally a place to buy clothes that will fit me well!

When I thought about styling this beauty, being that the holidays are just around the corner, my mind could only gravitate to sparkle. My hair is hiding my earrings of course, but I added a pair of pretty gems from H&M and a little sparkle detail on a belt that I snagged at Francesca’s over the weekend.

Speaking of our weekend trip to the mall, we were there predominately to watch a Santa parade and the grand illumination of the big tree, but I could hardly contain my shopping bug. Everything in the windows was red and glittering! While I did add a couple more sweaters to my collection, I remembered I was pregnant and couldn’t fit into most of my window lusts anyway, so for the most part, my wallet was saved! What wasn’t saved, was the time we spent shivering in the cold only to leave a few minutes shy of the actual tree lighting because toddler man just couldn’t wait any longer. As we were walking away the tree lit up and we could make out a few little lights between the crowds, but really, we were there for Maddox anyway, so if he was done, momma was fine with that!
