As much as I love a pretty fall dress – when it comes to Thanksgiving, I’m all about comfort. I opt for jeans for a day full of cooking, but I still like to be festive with a top that’s maybe a little dressed up, or just a pretty fall color.
Casual Thanksgiving Outfits
White Jeans
Alright, if you’re the one cooking, like me – white jeans may not be the best idea. But, if you’re looking to be a comfortable and well dressed guest, it’s a great choice. This top is called a “sweatshirt” on the Banana Republic site, which made me think when I ordered it online that I would be getting a great top to wear with leggings. What I got instead is a beautiful, so soft, almost silky, top that looks just as pretty dressed up with jeans, as it does with a pair of leggings. Plus, it’s great for hiding a food baby. Highly recommend. I’m wearing it in petite xxs.

Wrap Top
This is my idea of a casual outfit that is a little bit dressed up for the occasion. This wrap top comes in petite and the wrap isn’t too low – which is nearly unheard of for me! It comes in other festive fall colors that would look beautiful as well.

Cozy Cardigan
Y’all I wouldn’t care if this cardigan was cute or not, it’s so cozy, I would wear it anyway! Its heavy, warm and although you can’t tell all that well in the picture, it’s a beautiful knit! Perfect for buttoning up at the bottom after a big ol’ Thanksgiving meal.

Tunic and Leggings
Talk about comfortable and forgiving! Is there anything better than a leggings and tunic combination? Of course, it’s all personal preference. I’m wearing this tunic in the regular size, but I think the petite version would be a better fit.

Mom Jeans
The best petite mom jeans come from AE! At least in my opinion. I love this pair and think they work well with booties. My sweater is a little bit cropped which makes it great for tucking into the ultra high waist of these jeans.

Sweater Blazer
If you watched the IGtv style session before hitting this post, you’ll notice one of the outfits is missing. I moved my setup to a guest room in my house to get it out of my bedroom, and struggled a little bit with the lighting! The pictures I took of that outfit were a total bust, but I wanted to link the outfit here since it’s on the video! I layered a basic black sweater with a sweater blazer, paired it with jeans and leopard flats!
