After writing up a post about a camel blazer I was asked to also share a black blazer multiple ways. I mentioned in my camel blazer post that I personally wear that color the most, but a black blazer is another great classic staple to have in your closet.

Black Blazer Four Ways
Sizing Reference: I’m 4’10” and around 105lbs. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online.
The blazer I chose for this post is the J.Crew Parke blazer. I’ve mentioned it before many times, but it is by far the best blazer I’ve ever tried and has a great petite fit. I wear it in my true size, Petite 00.
With Charcoal Jeans
I love to wear jeans that lean toward charcoal or gray with a black blazer. You could also add a black top and black shoes here, but I love a camel and black combination.

With Taupe
Could I use this taupe sweater in every post – yes I could! I left the sweater untucked here to relax the outfit a little bit. A black blazer is a great way to look professional and polished when it’s needed, but I don’t work in an office setting like that so I tend to lean towards more relaxed outfits. The pants I’m wearing here are the Cameron crops from J.Crew. They pair beautifully with the blazer. I size up one in them to Petite 0.

With Jeans
Choose a pair of dark non-distressed jeans to pair with a black blazer. This pair in particular fits me full-length in my true size, Petite 24.

Classic Combination
If you’re in need of a petite-friendly black suit, this combination is a great one. Like everything on my blog, this outfit is unaltered and fits great off the rack. The pants are soft and stretchy – made from a knit material, they fit me well in my true size Petite 00. The top is a great fit in regular XS.
