You know how every girl needs a pair of white pants? If you ask me, this spring, every girl needs a pair of blush pants too. As soon as I started to see the muted pinks hitting the stores this spring, I needed a pair. However, If you’re anything like me, and your hips and thighs don’t lie – theres a good chance both white pants and blush pants (that actually look good) are hard to find. Pants and shorts always tend to be tight in the thighs and bottom and loose in the waist on me; and tight in a light pant just isn’t cute. It is a struggle, but a challenge my shopaholic self was willing to take on. Personally, I tried on a pair of blush pants from nearly every brand I could think of until I found the right pair. The right pair, was found at LOFT.

Good ol’ LOFT, is always one of my go-to places to shop. However, that doesn’t mean that every style is a win. I’ve tried many pairs from there, that just weren’t it. These pants in particular are their girlfriend chinos and they were a perfect fit for me. Just enough room in the legs to not be super tight, but not too much room that they make me look even shorter. I’m wearing them cuffed here, but they’re also a great length un-cuffed. I also purchased them in olive!
The top is also from LOFT. I purchased it after seeing it on a blogger on the ‘gram. I don’t stay on Instagram daily at the moment, it just kind of drives me crazy, but every time I do jump on, I’m almost always tempted to buy something I see (another reason I shouldn’t be on it every day). I don’t even remember who the girl was, she wasn’t someone I follow, but she was wearing this cute shirt and I was sold. It is totally see through (under the eyelets), so you’ll need a cami underneath, but it is light, summery, and is one of those things that looks just as great at work as it does out running errands. I happened to get it 40% off, which is pretty much my standard for shopping at LOFT. They have a 40% off sale so often, I don’t see the point in ever paying full price.

When we were taking these pictures, there was also a crowd of prom ready high schoolers waiting around for a photo shoot. They had a professional photographer, and I just thought it was the cutest thing! It sure brought back memories. We went out for a movie after taking pictures, and mom watched the boys, so it ended up being a fun night for us too!
