Date Night can mean a lot of different things to people. For some, it’s an occasion you want to wear a dress and heels for and for others you want to wear a pair of jeans. So for today’s post, I landed somewhere in the middle with one pair of black jeans. Some of the outfits are a little more dressed up and others are just casual and comfortable (my kind of date night outfit).
Date Night Outfits with Black Jeans
The jeans I’m wearing in this post fit me snug in my true size but they stretch with wear, so I wouldn’t recommend sizing up. I’m wearing them in 24 short, but they come in extra short as well if you need an even shorter inseam (I’m 4’10”).
With a Bodysuit
You can go for a bodysuit or a slim-fitting t-shirt to recreate this outfit. I’m wearing a bodysuit I found on Amazon, but it’s really a little too big for me, so if you’re the same size as me, I would opt for one from Express or Abercrombie instead for a better fit. I’m also linking similar options to my jacket because it is sold out, but I’ve tested the fit of each of the options listed and they fit well!

With an Off The Shoulder Sweater
This outfit lands in the middle to me. The sweater is warm and cozy, but it can be worn off the shoulder making for a perfect date night top. I’m wearing it in Petite X-Small, but it also comes in Petite XX-Small which may be a better fit. This sweater is also longer in length if you wanted to wear it with a pair of leather leggings.

All Black
An all-black outfit always looks dressed up to me. I was sticking with the same pair of jeans for these outfits, but you could create a little more balance with the form-fitted top by wearing a pair of straight jeans instead. You could also opt for adding a blazer to this outfit and boots as well if you need warmer shoes.

With Relaxed Chambray
You could go with a simple button-down top for date night as well. I’m wearing a chambray one here, but a white one would look great as well. Leave a few more buttons undone than you typically would for a more relaxed look. I dressed it up with heels, but you can easily wear booties with this one as well.

Full On Comfy
My ideal date night is dinner and a movie so I want to be comfortable! This one right here is me all the way, big cozy sweater, and warm boots!
