Last year, I rounded up several different styles of shorts that I personally love, but this year I’m going to focus my post on my favorite style and the one I wear the most. If you want to see more options, check out last year’s post, many of those styles are still available and still great.
Back to my favorite – the O.G. Shorts from Old Navy. When it comes to a pair of shorts, I look for a pair that isn’t too high-rise, doesn’t ride up, and doesn’t show my cheeks. However, I also don’t like my shorts to be too long since my legs are short. The high-waisted O.G. shorts in a 3″ inseam are perfection in all areas to me. They’re technically “high-waisted” but they’re not obnoxiously high and uncomfortable. The denim is rigid and the legs are roomy and comfortable. They come in several color options and styles throughout the season as well as different inseams. In my experience, most of them that I have ordered, regardless of style, have fit me the same – but of course, there can always be exceptions.

These shorts are affordable and they hold up well through multiple washes. They’re true to size, I wear them in a size 0. I bought a few different styles last year, wore them all season, and will wear them again this year. Here are a few different styles from this year.

The raw hem frays over time, but I love the way it looks! They’re a little bit darker in person than they appear here, the sun is washing them out a bit in the photo.

This pair is cuffed, online it shows it uncuffed and longer, but they came to me with a rolled hem. As far as white goes, these are thick and not see-through. They also have nude pockets in the front.
