The final post in my Outfits for Teachers series features dresses—all with sleeves. Dresses are one of the easiest things to choose for the beginning of the school year when it’s still hot outside. However, almost unanimously, the need was for the dresses to have sleeves and not be low-cut. I ordered several dresses for this series and was hoping I would have a good amount to share with you, but I struck out more than I had anticipated. Nevertheless, I did come up with a few good ones to share that fit the most requested criteria for teachers: comfortable, affordable, and sleeves.

Outfits for Teachers: Dresses with Sleeves
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Orange Dress
There is a lot to love about this dress—it’s comfortable and stretchy, the color is gorgeous for fall, and it has pockets! The only drawback is that it doesn’t come in petite. I’m wearing it here in XXS, and I think it works overall, but it is a little bit roomy on me. If you’re able to, a size down may be the best fit!

Blue Floral Dress
This dress has all of the same positives as the dress above. I love the stretch waist, pockets, and cute puff sleeves. This one does have a petite option! I’m wearing it in regular sizing here because I have this dress in other prints, and the regular size was a better fit for me in the length. However, the sizing must have changed because the dress seems larger to me in this print, so petite is a better choice in this case.

Black Dress
This mock-neck dress from Amazon is soft and stretchy. It’s a great fit through the shoulders and arms and a roomy bell-shaped fit through the body. It also comes in lots of color options. I’m wearing it here in XS and find it to fit true to size.

Pink Dress
This Amazon dress has a great fit all around! I love that it comes in XS, something you don’t see all that often on Amazon. The skirt is unlined but not see-through. It has small ruffle sleeves and pockets. This dress also comes in a lace option and a ric rac option (these two variations start at a size small).

Green Dress
The last dress in the lineup is stretchy, and I love the slim sleeves. One thing I find a little bit frustrating in my search for dresses with sleeves is the abundance of big, puffy sleeves and very few options that just have regular sleeves. I’m wearing it here in a size small and it’s a little bit roomy, so I would say it’s true to size (XS would be my true size).
