This week’s fabulous feature is Jessica of Blush and Blonde. She is an Army wife with an impeccably classy sense of style! Read below to learn more about her.
Tell us a little about you:
I’m an Army wife and a dog mommy to two spectacular German Shepherds! I love a good book, history, red wine, and The South. I’d always loved the idea of turning my love of fashion into a career, but moving every couple of years with the Army meant that I had to take an unconventional route. Creating my blog was a great way to do that and to give me my own creative space outside of my identity as an Army wife and housewife.
We love your style! Who is your favorite designer/place to shop?
Thank you!! I try to embody a more classic, modest look and my favorite designers are those who generally adhere to that aesthetic. I love Lilly Pulitzer, Kate Spade, Shoshanna, Tory Burch… I guess I’m a girl’s girl!
Favorite beauty tip:
Moisturize! And then moisturize some more!! I’m a huge proponent of skin care. Know what products you need to be using, know what products are right for your skin, and remember to adjust them seasonally. NEVER go to sleep without washing and moisturizing your face and ALWAYS wear your sunscreen!
Dream goal:
I want to make this blog something big… I want to be sitting front row at New York Fashion Week! I want to be a style icon for classy ladies everywhere.
Favorite motivational quote:
“Nothing is impossible, the word itself says I’m Possible!” – Audrey Hepburn
