Fall Front Porch & Superfood Snack Breaks!

It’s officially fall! It surely hasn’t felt like fall, but last week, baby and I decided it was time to get in the fall spirit. We took to the front porch, planted some mums and made a huge mess. It was great!

Fall Front Porch DIY

I had a couple of planters on the front porch from this summer, that were in need of a little TLC. I’ll admit, I didn’t water them like I should and some of the flowers had died. So, we dug out the old flowers, and popped in tri-color mums. I can’t wait until they bloom!

Front Porch Mums

What started as a fun, do it together project, ended in me covering the front porch in dirt, then subsequently trying to clean up the dirt with the water hose and the baby dancing in the “muddy puddles”. You can tell from the finished product, we only did a half way job of actually planting the mums and I’m pretty sure left the porch with a few stains. Fall front porch decorating skills.

Shine Organics Superfood Pouches

All of that digging and puddle jumping left us needing a snack! Not to cheesy lead into my review of Shine Organics Pouches, but they really were the perfect superfood compliment to our afternoon project.

Shine Organics Pouches

Clean Eating Snacks for On The Go

During my weekly Target run last week, I grabbed theApple Guava and Banana Pumpkin Shine Organics pouches to try. They were a little tucked into the shelf, in the apple sauce aisle, so if you go looking for them, be on the lookout! At my target, they were sold individually. The highlight of these Shine Organics pouches are that they were created to make superfoods more accessible. Each blend of fruits, vegetables, chia seeds and superfoods is made with a purpose: to calm, elevate, purify and revive! Plus they are certified organic and non-GMO. My favorite of the two, the Banana Pumpkin blend, is created to calm. I love both of the flavors I tried, and want to go back to try the other flavors.

Superfood Pouches

Although Shine Organics blends are meant for adult taste buds, my little loved the pouches too. Their parent company, Happy Family makes pouches for kids and babies that they love too!

The next time you find yourself on-the-go or creating a huge mess on your front porch, and in need of a snack, I highly recommend giving Shine Organics Pouches a try. You can grab a coupon for $1.00 off a 4 pack at Target here!

These photos look so lovely. It’s so nice that they have such a homely feel to them. The reef on your door is so beautiful as well, I’m currently in the process of trying to find one for mine!

The porch looks great and the snacks sound tasty! Leave the mess for the porch, but keep it out of the snacks! Love it.

I’m so jelly of your porch plants! KC usually turns too cold + gross to really invest in pretty mums and potted pretties like this.
