Here is my five minute makeup routine for you!
To start, here is my scary, non makeup face.
I start by moisturizing. My favorite is neutrogena sensitive skin. I’ve used it for years, affordable and great!
Then I apply a primer. My favorite MAC prep and prime.
Next is foundation. I’m a huge MAC fan, most of my products are MAC, this is their pro long wear line. I put dots around around the center of my face and spread with my fingers. You can use a brush, I just prefer my hands.
Next, concealer. Again, MAC pro long wear. I apply this under my eyes, around my mouth and on any blemishes.
Then I apply a powder to seal the deal. I use Makeup Forever high definition powder.
Since I’m going for fast, I am only applying paint pot to my eyelids. Typically, I always use this as a base, but it works just as well on its own. I use Soft Ochre because of my olive skin tone. Painterly works well also.
Then I line the top waterline with a waterproof gel pencil. This cheapie from rimmel works just fine.
Then I fill in my eyebrows with a dark brown shadow and a liner brush.
Add a little mascara and my eyes are done. My favorite is MAC high definition or diorshow.
Now the most important part in my opinion, contouring. I start with a bronzer or in this case I used Nars madly blush.
I apply it to my cheeks, neck and forehead. Then with a brighter color, I add a pop on the apples of my cheeks.
Then with the white highlight color, I sweep under my eyes, across the bridge of my nose and down from my forehead.
And blend it all with a fluffy brush!
Tadaa, no more scary, blotchy face. Quick and easy and lasts all day. Sorry about my nails in the pictures, mamma needs a mani for sure!
Here is the finished look.
