Just like everybody else, I use my iPhone for everything! From shopping, to jamming, to planning; my iPhone is my tool of choice. Here is what I’ve been snapping lately with my beloved iPhone:
Sneak peeks of our future home, which should be done in two weeks or less…eeekk!!!
First up, is my future study! I picked up this light from Pottery Barn. I actually went back and forth forever about putting this in the dining area and using the dining chandelier, in the study. I ultimately decided to go with this one in the study and I love it!
Remember that gray kitchen I was going to have? Yeah, I changed my mind! We went all white everything and swapped the herringbone mosaic for the backsplash, for subway tile laid in a herringbone pattern. I love the way it’s turning out! The chandelier has crystals that hang from it, that weren’t on just yet for this picture. We are planning to have a rustic farmhouse table (doesn’t everybody these days) so I’m hoping the jeweled chandelier and pretty glass pendants will be a nice mix of glam and rustic!
Some of the things I didn’t change my mind on, were the MSI Quartz countertops in Cashmere Carrara, the apron sink and our faucets. I have been swooning over the faucet in our kitchen and the Delta Cassidy faucets we chose for our bathrooms, which I’ll show you a little later!
You know I had to snap a picture of these stools to ask the hubby if I could have them, pretty please! I was in Homegoods a week prior to grabbing these and they only had one. I loved it, but of course I needed more like, four. I figured it would be impossible since I’ve very rarely seen an entire set of chairs at Homegoods, but lo and behold, I got lucky! They reminded me of the pricier Magnolia Home stools that I was in love with, but they were half the price and still made of solid wood!
And then we have our DIY projects that have been keeping us busy. This is the tabletop to our farmhouse table! We can’t take any credit for the actual construction, a friend of ours is a carpenter and he built it for us. We just sanded it and stained it! We’re going to put turned legs on it, that we purchased from Etsy. I’m most excited about the fact that the table is going to seat 8 people! I can’t wait to host dinner parties.
This is the start of our Anna White, console table, that we plan to put in our living room under the TV. I was surprised how big it actually is once we started to put it together, but I’m excited about all of the storage it is going to give us! Plus it’s been fun pretending that we have any carpentry skills. And yes, my dad has a “beware of attack cat” sign in his shed.
It seems like all I’ve been doing is obsessing over our new house, but I’ve also had a few weddings on the brain. I screenshot these two J. Crew Factory dresses to get my friend’s opinions. I ended up purchasing them to wear to an upcoming bachelorette party that is a wine tour during the day and is followed by a night out. Wardrobe changes and all, it’s going to be quite the event!

My best friend is finally getting married! So I’ve been pinning wedding ideas, because you know, I’ve only been waiting years to help her plan her wedding!
And finally, because some of us aren’t always happy, here’s one angry and ladylike kitty amidst all of our moving boxes.
There’s been a lot of excitement keeping me busy this summer, of course in between all of this craziness, my oldest son has started t-ball and we’ve been embarking on many summertime adventures! I can’t wait to share our new home with all of you once we’re moved in and settled!
I’d love to know, what have you been saving to your phone lately?
