Gray kitchen, gray paint, gray siding; my new house is going to be gray, gray, gray. Now, don’t go getting all, isn’t that going to be gloomy on me. Gray is neutral and gorgeous, I can’t wait to add bright pops of color throughout the house to liven up those soft gray tones.
Now, about that house. Remember, the one my husband and I are building. Would you believe that it isn’t even under construction yet?! We’ve been in the planning process since July and let me tell you, it’s taking wayyyyyy longer than my husband and I expected. But, thats ok! Construction is set to start in the coming weeks and hey, I have most of my plans all set in place! Today, I’m going to share my plans for our kitchen. It’s gray and it’s gorgeous. if you ask me
We are planning a medium tone hardwood throughout, which I think is going to be warm against the gray. We are also going to have recessed lighting in addition to the pendant lighting over the peninsula. I can see a bouquet of bright pink peonies sitting on the counter now. 🙂
