Neutral Fall Outfits

The gorgeous warm colors of fall are right around the corner. I love a good neutral outfit, especially with the pretty gold and chocolate brown of fall. Today I’m sharing four outfits for fall that you can wear for work or weekend.

My Sizing: I’m 4’10” and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″ and 36″. My typical inseam is 24-25″. The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. Unless otherwise noted, I find each item to run true to size.

Slip Skirt

This mini slip skirt is a great length for Petites (without being too short). It has a comfortable stretch waistband and is true to size overall. I added a blazer and a simple striped sweater for an outfit you could pull off at the office. The blazer has a soft brushed feel.

Corduroy Pants

Someone was listening when all the short girls said they wanted to wear wide-leg pants with flats too. Last season I couldn’t find very many wide-leg options that I still didn’t need a heel with, but so far this season I’m finding a few options. This corduroy pair has a great comfortable fit all around and I love the length! The crochet sweater fits perfectly in my true size with ruffle shoulders and smocked sleeves. It’s a very warm sweater and you’ll want to wear a camisole underneath if you don’t want it to be see-through.

Plaid Pants

It isn’t fall without a little plaid. I love the subtle plaid on these slim-fit pants (true to size). I paired them with a silky top in a pretty fall color and a tan blazer. All pieces are true to size.

Cozy Cardigan Sweater

Another fall staple is a cozy cardigan. I went with dark wash skinny jeans (still a great choice) that have a lot of comfortable stretch and a high rise. The jeans are true to size and the sweater is roomy in my true size. If you want a closer fit, I would go down a size.
