The majority of the teachers I talked to told me they wore sneakers the most. So, for this post, I’m sharing a mix of outfits, some a little more casual with jeans, and some a nice blend of professional and comfortable. If you need outfits that are more polished with sneakers, check out this previously written post.

Outfits for Teachers with Sneakers
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Sneakers for Teachers
I chose a pair of white Vionic sneakers for the post, but feel free to swap in the style you prefer. The Vionics have good support and, after a brief break-in period, are comfortable for hours on your feet. If you’re wondering what I did with the laces, I have them tucked under the insole. I do this with nearly all of my sneakers in this style. It makes them easy to slip off and on and has a clean look. Of course, tying them is just fine. I wear these no-show socks from Amazon with them.
With a Sweater Blazer
The stretchy and comfortable ponte pants from LOFT work well with sneakers. Since they have a close fit, I like to balance them with something a little oversized on top!
The Sutton Ankle Flare Pants have a 10″ rise and a 26″ inseam in petite.

With a Chambray Top
This chambray top combination is a classic! My exact top is from Madewell and is no longer available, but I’m linking a similar (and less expensive) option from Quince.
The Mid-Rise Cropped Flare Jeans have a 9″ rise and a 24.5″ inseam in petite.

With Jeans
You’ve seen this outfit before in this post, but I wanted to show you how it also works well with sneakers! I added my favorite backpack because some of my teacher friends requested a backpack recommendation. I personally use this bag when I travel and for outings with my kids where we need to carry a little extra (like a theme park). I love the neutral color and simple design.
The Slim Straight Jeans have a 9″ rise and 25″ inseam.

The last two outfits are from other posts in this series, but since they also had sneakers, I wanted to include them all in one place.
With a Cropped Denim Top
This cropped denim shirt is a nice update to the classic denim top we all love. This top has a wide and boxy fit with generous sleeves. I cuffed them to cut down on some of the volume. The Adidas sneakers I’m wearing here run 1/2 size large, I would recommend a size down for the best fit.
The Mid-Rise Cropped Flare Jeans have a 9″ rise and a 24.5″ inseam in petite.

With an Oversized Denim Jacket
A denim jacket always looks great with black pants. I chose an oversized option for an on-trend combination, but if oversized isn’t your favorite – this jacket from LOFT has a classic fit. My jacket comes with a belt that you can choose to wear or not and pockets on the side.
The Wide Leg Ponte Pants have an 11″ rise and a 27.5″ inseam in petite.
