I’ve always loved a good pair of leggings. I mean who doesn’t love stretchy glorious freedom. Lately, I find myself picking leggings as often as I can. Sometimes that’s done casually and other times I dress them up a bit. Today, I’m sharing my top picks for petite-friendly leggings in different styles and the ways I wear them. The bonus, these all fit perfectly in length without any cuffing on my 4’10” self.
Petite-Friendly Leggings Guide
Classic Comfortable Leggings – American Eagle O.G. Leggings
My top pick for a classic comfortable pair of leggings is the O.G. Leggings at American Eagle. They’re high rise, with a perfectly cropped leg, in short. They’re under $10 typically as well. This pair is on the thin side, so I would recommend always wearing them with a top that covers your backside. This pair is traditional cotton, so they’re not crazy stretchy like you would expect from a pair of athletic leggings. I wear them in XS Short

Elevated Thick Leggings – LOFT Ponte Leggings in Petite
If you’re looking for a pair of leggings you can dress up, and possibly even wear to work – the Ponte Leggings from LOFT are it. This pair is thick and not see-through. They’re mid-rise and fit great in length. They have a little bit of stretch to them, and minimal compression. I wear them in Petite XXS.

Athletic Leggings – CRZYOGA Naked Feel Leggings & Zelle Leggings
I have a tie for my two favorite athletic leggings. However, one of them does win in the length department (the CRZYOGA pair). CRZYOGA Naked Feel Leggings can be found on Amazon. They’re perfect in either the 23″ (cropped fit) or 25″ (full length) inseam on me. They have compression, but not so much compression that you’re suffocating and they’re not see-through. I love the Naked Feel line because they’re silky and smooth – they’re magical and really affordable!
I also like Zelle leggings from Nordstrom in petite. This pair, if you go for the full-length, is a little bit long and needs to be cuffed if you don’t plan to tuck them into boots. What I like about them is that they’re thick and warm with just the right amount of compression.

I feel like it wouldn’t be right to end a post about leggings without talking about Spanx Leather Leggings. I still love them but haven’t been wearing them as much this year. As far as sizing goes, I have them in XS Petite, but I think I might be more comfortable in a size small – they’re really tight in my waist in XS.
