Petite-Friendly Holiday Party Outfits
To compare sizing – I’m 4’10” and around 105 pounds. My bust, waist and hip measurements are 32″, 24″ and 36″.
Lace Dress
For an elegant celebration (maybe even a winter wedding) this dress is a beautiful petite-friendly option. I can’t tell you how it’s not super long on me (when it’s already pretty long on the model) but it isn’t. This dress also fits very well in the body, but it doesn’t have any stretch. If you’re wider in the hips like me, you may want to size up to avoid an awkard situation when you sit down. This dress has a scoop back that I needed to wear a strapless bra with and it is lined to mid-thigh. For a smooth fit, I recommend wearing a pair of shaping shorts. I’m wearing my favorite pair of Spanx with almost all of these outfits.

Sequin Skirt
If you’re looking for a little sparkle this skirt is a great option! I’m wearing it in regular XXS and it fits true to size on me. Not too tight and not too lose. The wrap portion of the skirt is also adjustable. The slit does come up a little high in the front so just be aware of that if that is something that makes you uncomfortable. I’m wearing it with a bodysuit from Pink Lily that fits me well in XS. If you need more warmth I recommend adding tights.

Jumpsuit
I cut this jumpsuit from the video because it’s so low in stock, but I still wanted to include it on the blog in case it restocks, because it’s such a great petite option! It’s really comfortable and stretchy. I’m wearing it in Petite XXS.

Sweater Dress
If you’re looking to wear something a little bit warmer, you could opt for a sweater dress. This black one fits very well in small, which makes me think it runs on the small side. The wrap stays put and doesn’t drop too low. This is another one you could add tights and boots with if you need some warmth, but boots will make it a little more casual.

This dress from Amazon is another great sweater dress option. I’m wearing it in a size small and it’s thick and fits me well. I’m not wearing the belt it comes with and I’m also wearing it on my shoulders instead of off the shoulder – which makes it look a little bit different on me, than it looks on Amazon. It definitely fits just fine on the shoulders and I think looks a little classier since it’s already a short and tight dress – it’s also more comfortable this way.

Midi Skirt
Now, to the outfits that I feel the most “myself” in, these midi skirt outfits. I took my favorite Amazon midi skirt in black and paired it with two great tops. First, the black on makes it have the look of a classic black dress. Second, with a classic tartan top. I’m wearing the skirt in XS in the longer option, not the short option you may see if you scroll through on Amazon, that skirt would come above the knee instead of below like mine does. I’m also wearing the black top in XS, you may recognize it from this post where I wore the white version of it.

Jeans Outfits
If you’re looking for a more casual party outfit, you may like to pair a dressy top with a pair of jeans.
SheIn definitely runs small – but you have to look around to find good quality. This top is unlined, but it’s not crazy thin and it fits well! I’m wearing it in XS, but it goes down to XXS in some colors. It’s perfect for pairing with your favorite jeans and festive shoes for a holiday outfit you can get more than just seasonal use out of.
