This midi-length sequin skirt is a beautiful holiday statement. It’s well-lined (so it’s not itchy), has a little bit of comfortable stretch and is true to size. In this post I’m styling it three different ways for a holiday party.

Sequin Skirt Three Ways
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
With a Sweater
The key to wearing a sweater with a skirt is shapewear or tights. In this case, it’s a shapewear. I wear Spanx shorts and tuck the sweater into the shorts. You can do the same thing with tights that have a little bit of compression. The sweater I’m wearing here doesn’t come in petite so the sleeves are a tiny bit long (I’m wearing them cuffed).

With a Plaid Top
I love the holiday pairing of plaid and sequins! I added red heels here to compliment the top and a red coat. My coat is from last season, so I’ve linked this year’s coat. The current season coat has more buttons than mine and I can’t say for certain if the red is exactly the same shade of red. I can however, say the fit is the same (I have this season’s coat in black). I wear it in my true size, but it’s slim through the arms and shoulders so you may want to size up if you want to layer sweaters under it.

With Knee-High Boots
For a warm option you can pair the skirt with knee-high boots. You can add warmth by wearing tights under the skirt as well (and then using the tights to tuck your sweater into).
