2020 has been quite the year. I never like to speak for someone else, but I can guess this year brought about feelings of stress, anxiety and a little unrest for most of us.
So, when it comes to giving gifts (or getting gifts) at the end of this unforgettable year I want to give things that make the recipient feel nice and relaxed! Maybe that’s a cozy blanket and slippers, a good book – or some great skincare to nourish your skin after a long stressful day.
I put together a post last year about giving skincare for gifts and I still think it’s a great idea this year. Last year, I focused on sets that could work for different skin types, but this year I’m going to recommend my all-time favorite products that are sure to make a great gift.
Skincare Gifts for 2020
Tea Tree Deep Clearing Facial Cleanser
First up, a tea tree deep cleanser. I’m all for a gentle cleanser most of the time, but this year I’ve developed a skincare issue I’ve never faced before – maskne. Probably a made up word, but you know what I mean by that? The acne on your chin and cheeks from wearing a mask all day long. My favorite gentle cleanser is always great for taking off makeup, but the pimples I’ve been battling this year have needed this cleanser! The tea tree in it is also really refreshing after a long day.
My take: Great for clearing blemishes and cleansing oily skin.

Aplha Hydroxy Skin Renewal Serum
This revamp of my old favorite skin renewal serum has been my favorite skincare item this year! It has the skin renewing and fine line minimizing properties of AHAs and glycolic acid, but it’s gentle enough for most skin types! It never irritates my skin, but always leaves it glowing.
My take: Great for brightening dull skin, and minimizing fine lines.

I’m also fan of Eye Perfection Therapy (which has newer packaging than the one I pictured) and Total Antioxidant Vitamin C Facial Serum. Both are also great for bright, even skin tone.
Baobab Skin Correction Facial Cream
Baobab has been one of my favorites since I started using Skin Resource.MD a couple of years ago. Made with the oil from the Baobab tree it has powerful antioxidants that even your skin tone and combat the signs of aging!
My take: It’s ultra creamy, soothing, anti-aging, and great for an even skin tone.

Hyaluronic Moisture Boost Serum
This is another one of my OG favorite products from Skin Resource.MD. It is so hydrating and soothing! My favorite thing about it is you can wear it day and night and it works well under makeup. I’m really loving it now in the winter when I need more hydration under my makeup.
My take: ultra hydrating, soothing and skin plumping!

When it comes to moisturizing, I’m also a big fan of their Ultra Rich BioLipid Cream for nighttime!
It’s hard to narrow down favorites when really there isn’t anything I’ve tried from Skin Resource.MD that I didn’t like. It’s a pretty sure bet you’re going to love whatever you choose to gift to yourself or someone you love.
