I’m not one to get into the Christmas spirit super early. As soon as I hit the stores on Black Friday is when my brain switches into Christmas mode, until then it’s pumpkins, turkey and pie. That was until my boss made mention that there are only three weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, and I started to panic just a little. Three weeks?! That’s all?! Is it always like that?! I don’t know, but it doesn’t seem like enough time to accomplish everything on my holiday list.
So, I didn’t start decorating, but I did start thinking about gifts. I was thinking about my sweet momma when I thought about gifting skincare. She’s often asks me what she should use, so I thought why not go ahead and put together what she should use and package it up with a little holiday cheer. Skincare is like the gift that keeps on giving, if you nail their skin needs, they’re going to have beautiful skin all year round.

Starting off, I wanted to give my momma a package of my favorite products.
I often use a nice mix or products, but these four products are my current favorites. I’ve mentioned all of these on the blog before, but in case you’re not familiar, here’s a little rundown of why I think they’re great.
- Total Facial Cleansing Gel is the best cleanser I’ve ever used. It never dries my skin out, year round, and it removes all of my makeup. Even heavy eyeliner and mascara. There are times I’ve been lazy, or left it on the counter instead of in the shower and I’ve used something like shower gel on my face instead and I immediately noticed the difference!
- Hyaluronic Moisture Boost Serum This serum boosts elasticity and helps your skin hold moisture. In a nutshell, it makes your skin look better! Especially if your skin is dry, I highly recommend this serum.
- Total Antioxidant Facial Serum I notice a difference in my skin when I skimp on using this serum. Just a couple of weeks ago in the thick of skimping on my skincare I looked in the mirror and had all these little lines on my forehead and my skin just looked parched. Just one week of being back in my routine and using this serum with retinol, my skin was smoother and brighter. This is another product that just works! Plus, it’s great under makeup.
- Visibly Moist Toner This product has recently become my MVP with winter skin. In fact, I was thinking of dedicating an entire post to my foundation routine with this toner. My skin is so dry in the cold weather, and my foundation was looking very blah, catching on every line and just looking blah. I started spraying this on my face before my foundation, then also spraying a beauty blender with the toner and dabbing it on top of my foundation and powder. The result, healthy, moisturized, fresh looking winter makeup!
